College (Third Semester) -3rd year in Taylors-

God... it's been 2 years at Taylors... Time moves so fast... (and truth be told) it's been a roller coaster ride. I would have never imagined myself being where I am now doing the things I do and well... I just never thought I'd change so much in a mere 24 months... Since I left home, i've stayed out later (i used to have curfew at 6p.m!), I now drive a car (hahaha a dream come true... no more fucking public tansport! KTM especially!), I've gone clubbing (something I thought i'd never do until Uni XD), Found and lost love (AGAIN...), become more hardworking towards my studies and a bit more mature in thinking and action... I've changed my hair colour a lot too XD gosh, red, purple, blond, (pink!? WTH!), black ash... Huh! A lot of things...

Even gotten myself into such a thing as cosplay and 2 years ago I could only have dreamt of doing such a thing but to say that i'm up there with the more experienced cosplayers is a feat. (Thanks a lot guys for your support and help! Couldn't have done it without ya!) Sigh... well... there have been some bitter moments in my life since I joined college. There was that time when my grandparents split... ha... ha... dark moments... but things worked out in the end. They always do right? Somehow... I can't believe I even passed ICPU (i didn't graduate because i'm taking extra subjects but I could've~).

Mmm... I just have moments of great Nostalgia... unlike most people who just miss their highschool friends, I've got it 3 times as worse. Not only do I miss my highschool friends, I miss my A levels mates and my ICPU friends who've already graduated... Most have moved on to bigger better things... and I'll be leaving my cosplay gang as well once I leave for the UK this coming September... Gah... memories are sweet but sometimes the void it creates can bring more pain that joy. *shakes head then snickers* Enjoying the moment right? It's all about the moment... I think that's why I always look up... and wonder... Am I truly content with my life? Or am I just caught up in the moment, content with what I have right there and then...

Anyways, enough of my aimless ramblings. I figured you guys would want something to read after so long =P so yeah, pick my brain a lil more if you'd like. Post some comments up! See ya next time ;)

New Year, New Things, New Faces.... NEW LAP TOP!

So yeah, I think everyone's got access to a computer these days. Internet line may not be as fast as you'd like (or as reliable for that matter...fucking streamyx!) but yeah, its better than 56k dial-up we used to have to deal with right?

Anyways, I have a lap top. M-life brand. Never heard of it? Yeah, see... I was kind of on a budget before and I just picked something that seemed alright and affordable.

BAD MOVE... it was the shittiest piece of crap i've ever had. It was slow, prone to virus, the XP Operating System was unregistered and it got infected by spyware so bad that most sites with flash and other nice effects would lagg it up (face book and Potter's blog are an example). So yeah, dealt with it for a year...

God... I really wish I hadn't knocked my first lap top over and damaged the screen... it wasn't the best out there but at least it was reliable *squints* but since the 30th as of last year, I NO LONGER NEED TO DEAL WITH LAGG ANYMOARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! With the dawn of the new year behold!!!! My new baby!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Dell XPS M1530

Ho yeah!!! This baby comes packing alright! Although it isn't the lightest in its class weighing at 2.9kgs, it has a few tricks up its sleeve. 3Gig ram, 300Gig Hard Disk Drive, Intel Centrino 2 Dual Core Processor, 15' LCD screen with HDMI out and the best speakers i've heard on any laptop so far (they're not as loud as my SONY Hi-Fi In my room, it shakes the room by the way...) it's loud enough to have me listen to some conversations in a game whilst my friend play Devil May Cry 4 out in the living room with the tv's volume at 50 XD

Owh and did I mention this thing is thinner than most laptops. Look at the photo above and you'll see why. If you look close enough, you'll notice a slit where the discs are inserted. Thats right, no button on the side to eject discs which makes it a tad slimmer (or at least it seems to be). It's got bluetooth too, an 8 in 1 memory card reader, and surprisingly a finger print reader too for added security or if you happen to forget that awfully long password you set lols!
The screen is wicked clear and the graphics card is top notch too. Nvidia G-force 8600 if i'm not mistaken... i'm not too good with the inner parts of a com so much but based on what this thing can push out from my games, I can tell its decent. Call Of Duty 5 at high settings with no lag =3 I'm gonna test out Left 4 Dead later to see if I can get similar results there as these games eat a lot of ram and require really good graphics cards. Any suggestions on what to try out next? I tried Crysis as well... decent, but me thinks the graphics card isn't good enough to run it at maximum. High was fine but anything more and it'd be a tad choppy.

When I was looking for the lap top I was looking for 3 things, Weight, Slim Design, and specs that were for users who liked their PCs to be all rounder (work and play).
Well I found the XPS M1330 when I went to low yat. It was much lighter at 1.9Kgs and met my needs but the specs were a little off and the screen was smaller at 13'... So i figured i'd get the slightly more expensive model since my grandpa was paying XD and that was that. Now if only the budget was raised higher and I could get this baby

My CF 08 Experience

Well the highly anticipated weekend finally came, and just like that…. Its come and gone…. Yeah, I’m talking about CF 2008 people. I’ll give you a lil history behind me wanting to go for events like this. It all started with TAF 2007. Gosh I remember it like it was yesterday. I was studying A levels back then, college was a whole new thing for me and wouldn’t you know it? We had our own Anime Society and we were hosts to our very own Anime Festival; Taylor’s Anime Fest to be exact. So I was introduced to the world of cosplay. It intrigued me, sure I’ve seen people in costumes before but not people my age and certainly not this close up. Fast forward a whole year and it’s time for TAF 08 to take place, except this time… I’m no longer a spectator. XD I’m a friggin cosplayer!; Reno to be exact from the ever popular and famous game/CG movie FF7.

That was that, from that moment on… I was hooked and since that day, everyone who’s anyone in the cosplay community has been telling me the same thing. YOU HAVE GOT TO ATTEND CF OMGFTWBBQILIKEMILK! LOL! So yeah, I’ve been waiting awhile for this thing and truth be told…. IT ROCKED HARD!!!! Haha now I get what you guys were saying about the previous events being off the mark. CF is great indeed!

Anyways, that blabber aside…. I’ll give you my account for my first time at CF 2008. Here wii go yo!

So yeah, got up at 8a.m. I surprisingly woke up before my alarm went off too (haha subconscious must’ve nudged me to wake up). Dei was still fast asleep on the mattress next to mine and I nudged him. He was still tired from staying up the morning before (yes, we played PS3 and chatted all night long till it was morning…) He kept pressing the snooze button on the alarm but we managed to finally get up and we left the house about 9ish. Arrived at 10 because we had to pick up a couple of people on the way. So I had my make up applied by my personal make up artist (thanks Reg!!! appreciate it!) Everything was going smoothly and wouldn’t you know it? Zimz forgot to bring her brush for my scars *more squinty eyes* so yeah…. No Reno scars that day *sad…* and my hair was a lil fucked up coz it was too long… It wasn’t my best portrayal of Reno but people still seemed to recognize me so…. It wasn’t all bad I guess. Entered and posed for a couple of people and then….

BAM! I found my RUDE!!!! I was so glad that for once, Reno wouldn’t walk the halls Solo like I had to for the previous events! Thanks Rude for showing up at CF for at least day 1 ;)

Since all the tidus's went AWOL I figured it was time for the ol Reno to pick up the lonely Yuna's walking the hallways. H-e-l-l-o LADIES =3

Half the day goes by and I didn’t even have the chance to eat lunch properly, I’m out of the sushi king and rushing into the men’s room for a quick costume change into *drum roll* Gintoki!

From Gintama for a private shoot with my Gintama group. I’ve typed so much I figured I’d let the pics do the talking to describe the shoot XD it was a blast lols!

After that… I was just… guh… drained… I was so tired I fell asleep at the café on a couch holding my empty drink cup… it wasn’t till Tamz (Pikachu) started quick attacking me (poked me continuously) that I woke up. Dei is such a caring friend, he took me under his wing and really took care of me for those two days when it came to nourishment (Thanks a bunch man ;) you’re a good friend) he bought me a 100plus and I started to feel better.

Drove home after dropping him off at a station so he could get his boots and I basically fell on my bed clinging on to what life I had left in me (I was tired but I couldn’t sleep…. Know the feeling?) My housemate (like Dei) was worried when he saw me. He peered in to check on me to find a half dead guy chatting on MSN face down on his pillow. “Are you okay dude?” he asked opening the door slightly, “…Coz you look really dead, wanna eat something?”. I fixed myself up with some instant noodles and after ingesting some of that and a lively chat with my friend I was good to go again (too good that I didn’t sleep till 3…. Gah!)

Day 2 of CF promised more attendees, mostly because of the increased attendance of cosplayers because of the solo competition held that day. Alas, I felt something was missing that day… that high I got at AFA wasn’t present. It felt… dare I say It? Boring!? OMG NOOO This is CF!!!

But I guess that’s as far as it’ll go being an event hosted in Malaysia. Nevertheless, I shouldn’t complain so much! I had a blast meeting up with all these new faces and taking pictures. Made a couple of fans too XD you know who you are!

Anyways, I er…. Took part in a performance on day 2 *squints* a dance to be exact… so… yeah…. I’ll let the video do the talking and you can decide what to make of it XD some people loved it, others just continually did spit takes especially the ones in the front row or so I hear lol!

Long story short as far as the solo competition goes, I wasn’t good enough to make it to the finals. Competition was tough and I applaud the finalists who got to be in the final 8.

Nemesis, Zehn a cosplay friend of Dei’s and I was one of those finalists. I believe the remainders were, Yuna and Riku from FFX-2 they were the same ones I saw at AFA XP hot pair, they really suit the two characters. Asoka from Star Wars (she made her own light saber! Nicely done). Faust… I think he needs to study his character more, you weren’t jumpy enough dude… Blackstar from soul eater, haha hyper lil fella I must admit. Sheryl Nome! OMG she was one of the greats! My new cosplay heroine! She was damn in character! Hope I can reach her level of cosplay one day and uh…. Owh yeah, there was KRAUZER-SAMA lol! You were great Zimz! Really good cosplay!

Anyways, after the competition all I wanted to do was be Gin-san for the day and that’s what I did.

Walked around all unenthusiastic, wanting some sake, and reading my WEEKULY JUMPU~

I had a candy cane which I stole from Kagura but I finished it after a few hours… Shinigami-sama only ‘helped’ make it shorter too… guh… Here’s more pics…. The problem with my posts is that once I start typing I can never stop LOL!

All in all, a decent ACG event. I hope to see more of these in the future. If only I had been exposed sooner… all the events I’ve been missing out on… haha imma make it all up and go for all the events I can ;) next up! GACC!!!! HUYEAHHHH!!!! See you there ;)

ACF zero 2

So yeah, despite not wanting to take this event seriously, I still decided to attend because of my gang (I love you guys... gonna miss ya over in UK T.T)

Woke up in the morning (like 9++) and got ready to go. Jacky and Hikaru caused some delays because they were missing stuffs (or more like Jacky was missing his socks) this caused me to experience some delays too (i forgot my socks in rushing them XD).

Got to TS at around 11? Hurm... found great parking (right next to the doors leading to the escalators!) and made our way up. Jacky and Hikaru went ahead to register while I (as nowaki-san) went to meet up with my Hiro-san (9gems) for our date =3



Unlike normal couples (we're a Yaoi couple XD omg) who get ready before going out, we only groomed ourselves and put on make ups after meeting up (haha even helped each other with our stuff lol). Finishing up, we both headed to the event venue. Pretty small, but concentrated enough to allow for movement from booth to booth and for random cosplay pic snapping.



Waited for quite some time... we were both bored for that period of time. The atmosphere only improved once we were joined by the likes of Akira (ice cream) and her seme (cute non-cosplaying gal? I dunno your name XD never intro properly!!!!!) and Mugen-panda. (we treated the group to some yaoi shots (hope you enjoyed em =3 now where's our money? 1 buck for every shot lol! Kidding!)

After some amount of poking from almost all sides... by mugen, ice cream, jacky =.= and a few others, it was time for some lunch. Yay!!! We went to sushi king... gah... my paycheck hasn't come in Hiro-san! I can't afford to eat there... (so thanks for feeding me =3 i'll treat you during CF! I promise!) Many happy moments in sushi king. Some cute scenes with laughter from Akira's seme XD (she laughs like she's hiccuping very cute) and there were a couple of nice moments where the Ukes and the Semes fed each other (cute audience AWWWWWWWW!!!)


We headed over to the arcade one lunch was over with... A few rounds of Para Para Paradise was in order. There was a pro amongst us as well, man was he good (followed the PPP girlie style a bit too much at times but still... good =D). Hiro went next and I went after. Needless to say, I sweated like a dog who couldn't pant *squints* and my hair was all over the place and needed restyling. No worries, Hiro-san was more than happy to patch things up and I was looking good as new in no time.


Went back to the venue to see the cosplay competition... nothing too much to look forward to. Standard amount of cosplayers drawn in. The usual bunch took part (at this rate i'll get acquainted to everyone in a matter of no time.... where are all the cosplayers in KL?) In my honest opinion, Satan and Narukids skit was the best amongst the competition. They really got the crowd hyped up. Sadly, they didn't even get placing which I thought was outrageous. Satan took it like a good sport though. No complaints from him (none that he showed outwardly anywyas). The champs shouldn't have won. Even if their costumes were generally good, the performance was over done and honestly the dance routine appeared half assed. No crowd support as far as I remember and well.... if at all, I think Gintoki should've gotten first as he was in character throughout the entire event. My salutations to you man. You rock!


Had dinner afterwards, no money... so i sipped some of Hiro-san's drink hehehe we even had a moment =* huhuhu some hot date XD i'll leave the rest to your imaginations XP Hur... drove home with Jacky and Hikaru... found my router to be fried... apparently there was a heavy storm earlier while I was out. I left it on as usual for my friend to use and he didn't switch it off claiming that I locked my door (doubt he would've done it even if it was open but who knows...) i'm using the one streamyx gave us but it's only temporary, gotta make it so that he can use the line too...
Gah... i'm tired... wanna sleep... so yeah... nice outing, event was bluek but I liked the company owh and and... I GOT CAT EARS XD now its time to corrupt the minds of my fans XP whoever they may be =D Ciaos for now. Oyasuminasai~

Being Bishie...

I've come a long way since highschool. I used to be the dude that had zits all over his god**** face and it only worsened when the temperature increased due to the hot hot weather that we have to endure in Malaysia. Well I tried everything, creams, lotions, scrubs you name it. Nothing really worked for me. The power of puberty simply could not be over come. I'm not the hot hot guy type that girls drool over XP and I honestly don't mind that lol! Makes me humble and it ain't all about looks right?

Skip forward 6 odd years and you're in the present day. I'm a full time college student and the effects of puberty have run off. My face can actually be clear on some days of the week but of course like any other battlefield, my face wasn't left unharmed as I've got a few scars from them pimples. It's not too bad though, coz those imperfections I've realized as of late can be covered up by make up XD ok ok I know it's weird for me (a guy) to be mentioning that I use make up but it's only for cosplay which means it's for a good cause (anime characters need perfect skin what? =P)

Skip forward another few months and I've attended and participated in a few cosplay events held around KL and Selangor. Conventions like TAF (taylors anime fest) and ACGC (Anime Comic and Gaming Convention). To make it short and sweet, I've been awarded anime character status lol! or something like that. I've got fangirls (the one's i meet are quite nice) as well as stalkers (well so far nothing too extreme, they've only found my e-mail on their own which is harmless and their nice people). Up until recently everythings been fine. Until a few days ago that is.

I'm registered as a member on Comic Fiesta forums. I like to chit chat with the members and constantly post in that portion of the site. Recently, one of them opened a camwhore thread where users alike can well.... post up their camwhore pics duh! Xd unfortunately I dominated the thread a fair bit by including a picture in almost every post I made. Unfortunate why? Because I realized I can be pretty Bishie. Why is that bad? Coz it not only attracts the opposite sex it pulls in the guys interested in me too (owh dear).

I'm straight. Honestly. I have no intention of going down the path of having an intimate relationship with the same sex. I love girls! I dunno what the world would be like without em. Sure, I involve myself in the whole Seme/Uke game but most of it I condone because the ones forcing it on me are (mostly) girls... I'm fine with it, they have their fun and I get a couple of laughs by making them laugh and feeding their fangirl desires. There are a few occurences when I take questionable pictures with guys but it's mild fanservice. Nothing more...

I'm flattered that people (even the guy ones) notice me and think i'm attractive (thank you you're too kind) but seriously, no offence but i'm not interested in guy guy relationships and I'll never be in one. So if you'll please, just back off for my sake. I can take a joke but it's gotten to a point of being uncomfortable and i'm asking politely that you cease and desist. You know who you are. I don't mind being friends but that's all it'll ever be. I hope i've made this clear to you XxxxxXxxxxxx

Halloween Party at Metropolitan College

So yeah, it's the 31st... a time for scares and candy =3 so many parties to go to and I chose the one held in Metropolitan. Why? Coz my buds are going that's why lols! Cosplay gang get together again for the usual list of socializing activities. Chatting and catching up with as well as candid and some yaoi shots to boot.

Well I can't say too much about the party held at Metro. It wasn't the best thing i've been to to say the least. It was more of a private outing rather than an event or so it seem to be. Lack of organization and crowd control. Loads of people were doing their own thing in their own groups a.k.a syok sendiri XD

The cosplay competition was pretty fail aside from the lack of participation, nobody really did anything too wow for it (i know i didn't XP) but Jacky and MskGod's dances were amusing. I was pursuaded to join despite having thought about not doing so for the past week (i have nothing planned that's ready and good...) I did a monologue portraying a vamp that's losing his teeth and hates his wife (i die in at the end of it only to live on miraculously), got 2nd placing which netted me a figurine (hot swim suit chick) and a RM 600 voucher for products at Osim =.= i think i'll ge that head massager now X3

Loads of photos being taken by photographers. I didn't get too much attention but i know who did... don't I Aoitenshi? Joo cat galz joo =P Loads of fans you have. My nose almost bleed...

We did play some games but they just didn't have that edge to draw people into participating. Only us hardcore peoples took part (my arms are tired from that follow the leader business) darn joo hardgayjacky!

Before the night ended, we stopped by Starbucks and turned almost every head in there. A bunch of taylors college students greeted us by wishing a happy halloween (at least some people know what time of year it is)

Chilled at Burger King till it closed with Lan, Cappy, Izumi, Sky, Jacky and Hikaru.

Now at home kinda tired, kinda sleepy, definately bored in my room typing out this post while Jacky is MIA in my house and Hikaru is busy trying out DMC demo on my PS3 (that's Devil May Cry people, not Detroit Metal City XD)

I'm gonna go rest now... catch ya later... or not X3
